Persatuan Renang Amatur Selangor (PRAS) will be organizing the MAS Foundations of Coaching Course, set to take place on 8-10 March 2025 at Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam. This course is to equip swimming coaches with essential coaching skills, focusing on ethical practices, athlete well-being, and long-term athlete development. Participants will learn to design personalized training pathways, create a safe and encouraging learning environment, and develop high-quality training sessions that enhance fundamental swimming skills. Additionally, the course covers technical aspects of all swimming strokes, fostering a positive team culture, and understanding competition rules and procedures in Malaysia. This course is a prerequisite for any coach who wishes to undertake the MAS Level 1 Coaching Course.
